tokyobike hosts a beer tasting with Brooklyn-based Japanese beer maker, Ippon Matsu Beer. Loaner bikes available for test rides and music by Kyle Garner and Deep Trouble NYC.
Ippon Matsu Beer was created to spread the message of charity, raise awareness and help those living in the aftermath of the tsunami. All profits are donated to the reconstruction efforts in Rikuzentakata, Japan.
Designer and DJ Kyle Garner is featured in Levi's® Commuter short film The Ride. With three other resident DJs, Garner organizes and plays the roving series Deep Trouble NYC. Consciously spiting the tropes that keep dance parties segregated into identity and genre ghettos, DEEP TROUBLE are here to possibly freak you out and in the process rescue you from the Unfeeling Hotel Crowds.
